All About ANR
What Is ANR?
ANR stands for Adult Nursing Relationships. This particular "fetish" or lifestyle choice is also called ABF, Adult Breastfeeding. Some people think there is a difference in the terminology regarding what they mean, some people use the terms interchangeably to mean the same thing. "Adult Breastfeeding" can be viewed as more of a kink that involves other kinks we don't get into discussing on this site, whereas "Adult Nursing" is pretty straightforward and generally means two adults who desire extended breast play with or without lactation.
Like any other "adult activity" different people have different ideas of what it means to them, how they would like it, if they view it as a sexual act or not, there are endless variations of the perfect ANR. It is as unique as the individuals who are into it!
Does it Involve Milk?
ANR can involve milk! That is very much a personal choice for couples to make together, or for women (or people who choose to lactate) to make. To keep it simple here we refer to people with breasts who choose to lactate as women, because it is mostly women, however there are circumstances where someone who has transitioned to a woman can also lactate if they so desire!
Lactation is something that takes a lot of time and effort to achieve without pregnancy being involved. Often women choose to add things to help, such as supplements, Article on 10 Supplements, pumps, etc. This can be something that a woman decides to do alone, and some women do for various reasons. They may be getting ready to find a partner to share it with, they may want the increased breast size and volume, it may make them feel extra feminine, etc. Lactation can also be achieved with a partner. A full time partner would be most ideal for this as it would require multiple daily "nursing sessions". There are prescription medications available for women to help promote lactation, however we don't get into those options here and do not have any connections for that. If you are seeking that, it may be helpful to find a doctor in your area that is recommended by the LGBTQ community, as those doctors are more likely to be familiar with hormones and open minded to people making changes to their own bodies that may not necessarily be seen as medically necessary by the majority of health care providers.
